At SlotMe, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal data when you use our AI-powered salon management platform.

1. Data We Collect
Account information: name, email address, phone number, salon name, and business details provided during registration. Salon data: services offered, pricing, working hours, master profiles, and availability schedules you configure in the platform. Booking data: appointment details, client names, phone numbers, service selections, and booking history. Communication data: WhatsApp messages processed through our AI assistant for appointment scheduling and client communication. Usage data: how you interact with our platform, including pages visited, features used, and device information (browser type, IP address). Payment data: billing information processed securely through our third-party payment provider. We do not store full credit card numbers.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to: provide and maintain the SlotMe platform; process appointments and manage salon schedules; power our AI assistant for automated client communication; send transactional notifications (booking confirmations, reminders); improve our AI models and service quality; provide customer support; and send service updates and, with your consent, marketing communications.
3. AI Data Processing
Our AI assistant processes client messages and salon data to provide automated scheduling and communication services. AI processing is performed using third-party AI providers (Google Gemini). We send only the minimum data necessary for the AI to function. Client messages are processed in real-time and are not used to train third-party AI models. You can review AI-generated responses and actions through your dashboard.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: third-party service providers who help us operate the platform (hosting, payment processing, AI services, WhatsApp Business API); legal authorities when required by law; and business partners only with your explicit consent. All third-party providers are bound by data processing agreements and are required to protect your data in accordance with applicable laws.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We use analytics cookies to understand how our platform is used and improve the experience. You can manage cookie preferences through the cookie consent banner or your browser settings. Our platform does not respond to Do Not Track signals, but we limit tracking to what is necessary for service improvement.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Booking history and client data are retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after account closure to allow for data export. Communication logs (WhatsApp messages) are retained for 12 months for service quality purposes. Usage and analytics data are retained in anonymized form. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
7. Your Rights (GDPR/RODO)
Under GDPR (RODO) and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to: access your personal data and obtain a copy; rectify inaccurate data; erase your data ("right to be forgotten"); restrict processing of your data; data portability (export your data in a machine-readable format); object to processing based on legitimate interests; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. 8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest, regular security audits, access controls and authentication, and secure cloud infrastructure. While we take all reasonable measures, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
9. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your country of residence. When we transfer data outside the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
10. Children's Privacy
SlotMe is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
